Your Role as Brand Director
Acts as the strategic bridge between creative vision and execution, translating the Founder’s creative direction into a clear and cohesive brand experience that resonates with Missoma’s global community. The Brand Director also leads and develops Missoma’s brand and creative teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and excellence as the brand continues to scale globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
Brand Strategy & Identity:
Own and evolve Missoma’s global brand strategy, ensuring it builds long-term brand equity.
Partner with CEO and Founder to translate vision into strategic frameworks.
Define and safeguard positioning, narrative, tone of voice and visual identity.
Develop guidelines and toolkits for consistent execution.
Use insight and cultural trends to evolve the brand.
Creative Direction & Campaign Leadership:
Lead development of global brand campaigns and storytelling.
Translate creative vision into briefs.
Oversee creative output to ensure alignment.
Balance creative ambition with commercial goals.
Community, PR & Brand Partnerships:
Lead global social and community strategy.
Oversee content across social platforms.
Lead PR, talent, influencer partnerships and events.
Identify partnerships that strengthen global presence.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Own integrated brand and marketing calendar.
Align with Growth and Digital on brand identity.
Collaborate with Product and Retail on narratives.
Embed brand thinking across the organisation.
Team Leadership:
Lead and develop high-performing creative, social, content, and PR teams.
Create an environment fostering creativity and accountability.
Oversee structure and capability development.
What You’ll Bring
8–12+ years’ experience in senior brand leadership roles within premium consumer brands.
Proven experience delivering brand strategy in a design-led business.
Experience working with Founders to translate creative vision.
Strong track record leading multidisciplinary teams.
Expert in storytelling and social-first marketing.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of brand performance.
Strategic thinker with exceptional creative judgement.
Collaborative and influential across teams.
Data-informed and insight-driven.
Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability.
